But the comedian, who seemingly rose to prominence overnight, is far from having instant success. Born in North Lewisburg, Ohio, Rife first appeared in the comedy improv series Wild “N Out. From seasons 7 to 9, Rife regularly appeared as a guest. Being the youngest cast member, Rife competed with rival teams on roasts and performed sketches.
Rife is a comedy writer, but he’s also known for thinking on his feet. His stand-up sets often have plenty of interaction with the audience. Most of his viewers are younger folks.
