Her fierce and unique comedic style has earned her a reputation as the “Diva of Contemporary Comedy.” Her material often includes jokes about money, sex, and gender equality. Since her emergence, Sommore has become one of the most recognized faces in comedy. She was the first female host of BET’s ComicView and made a number of notable appearances in feature films like Friday After Next, Soul Plane, and Dirty Laundry, among others.
Acclaimed comedian Bruce Bruce joins the Capital Comedy Festival this Valentine’s Day. The Atlanta, Georgia native was a former host of BET’s Comicview and made notable appearances in various stand-up comedy specials and TV shows. Bruce Bruce has starred in minor films such as The Wash, Larry the Cable Guy, Top Five, Think Like a Man, and Who’s Your Caddy.
